I will be in eastern PA the first week in July and am thinking about doing a river float with my dad (he'll fish for smallies, but I'm going to make sure we cover muskie water). I could borrow a canoe from an uncle who lives 1.5 hours away, but don't feel like going that far for one. Does anybody closer to Allentown have a canoe I could borrow for the week or know of any reasonable place to rent one? I'm willing to pay a reasonable rental fee and will certainly be responsible for any damages or other problems that come up.
If we do any good, maybe I'll even let you know where we went. 😉

Sorry, I can't be of much help. I'm 45 minutes from Allentown, have no canoe and haven't got a clue where to get one. I'd be surprised, as active as you've been from afar, if someone in this club can't help you. Good luck
