So my boat finally got fixed, and I'm trying to figure out how/if I should get it out here. My pop's said he'd bring it whenever he comes but that leaves me with the problem of finding a place to put it.
I live in an apartment, hence no place to put it. I've been looking at some garages/storage areas near Exton (since I live in MD the Marsh is likely what I'd hit up the most, might as well not tow it the whole way back and forth all the time. Garages are extremely expensive though, and I'm not sure if I could afford a commercial storage spot.
I'm just curious if anyone lives near or knows someone that does, or a good place to park a boat near Marsh Creek. I'd obviously be willing to pay for said services, maybe even work out a little usage in return if the person is a responsible musky hunter. 🙂 (basically my boat is in one piece when I want to use it)
The other side of it is, should I even get it out here with most lakes having restrictions below my HP (from what I've heard). I could use it on the bay I suppose, but muskies are my deal.
It's a 16.5' Grumman aluminum bass boat with a 70hp Johnson on it. So I guess if anyone knows of a good storage idea / thinks I'd be better off getting a Jon boat with a trolling motor on it (I'd still have the same storage predicament) / or just tagging along when able, let me know opinions.
Thanks.
