For Sale 15' Lund Rebel SS Adventure - Excellent Condition

I am looking at selling my 15' Lund. This boat is loaded, in excellent condition, and has been garage kept since its purchase in May, 2002. I am asking $7,500, but for a MI50 member would entertain best offer. Please recommend this boat to a friend if they have any interest in Lake Trout fishing. Also, if the boat sells north of $6,500 any incremental proceeds will be donated to the club (yup you read it right and let's keep that little secret among us). A new Lund with these features would be north of $13k.

Description: 2001 1440-V Rebel SS (s/n LUNR0254L001), 2002 Evinrude 9.9 4-stroke engine (low hours), (2) X-51 Lowrance fish finders w/ speed gauge, (2) electric cannon mini mag downriggers, 24v Minn Kota auto pilot, 12v minn kota transom mount trolling motor, extra Lund swivel chair, boat cover (never been used, never had to....), and three bank pro battery charge on-board (plug and play!). I will also throw in 2 ugly stick rods, 4 life preservers, and a frabill rubber net. I have all the manuals for every item as well.

Why am I selling you ask? Going to buy a river boat. Want to see this gem? Call me at (609) 273-7756. Thanks Joe.

Hey,

Beautiful package for the price. Kinda wish I had held off on the purchase I made last year at this time.

Joe-

I'm definitely interested in the boat that caught my first muskie! My cell # is 856-304-9560. I'll try calling you in the next day or so.

Joe,

What kind of river boat are you interested in. I am thinking of selling my 17' Xpress with 90/65 Yamaha Jet.

Matt, Give me a buzz at your convenience, I am off the entire week.

Greg, not sure yet, trying to do a bit of research first. Would definitely be interested in learning more about your boat. Thanks Joe

Joe,

The Xpress is the classic Susquehanna river boat. Many of the smallmouth guys that fish the Susquehanna have them. I bought it from a dealership in Hagerstown MD. Apparently my boat new would cost in the neighborhood of 20K. If you would like to check it out, let me know. Anyone else also!!! I am going to take back to the dealer I bought it from as a trade if no one from the club seems interested.

Gregg, is it the 17' bass model (per the website). I am probably looking either tiller or center console. Looks like a great boat (if that's the one). Thanks.

Joe,

Actually it is neither. It is stick steering.  Many fisherman feel that when you fish a river like the Susquehanna / Delaware that is very shallow it is extremely important to correctly distribute the weight. That means moving the batteries and the driver from the middle or back to the front. This allows you to go even shallower. I have run my boat in 6-8" of water at 30MPH and not hit bottom. Scary as hell but made it through!! 65 HP is the max for stick steering and according to the guys I bought my boat from, they were responsible for getting the boats rating based on prop/nozzle horsepower, not the powerhead.  I personally think my boat is in very very good, shape, especially for a river boat. I probably babied it to much. Let me know it you would like to see it because I am going the 40 West marine in a couple of weeks if not.

Okay I am now in boat transition.  One sold.... One to buy.  A Rancocas River Rat took my precious Lund off my hands at a Wal-Mart type price  >:D.  I spoke to him about the Tiger Muskies in there, but he's a striper / B-ass fisherman.   {[{[   Best of luck little Lund - I think she had a pretty good record for Mercer Muskies on the troll :'(.  <<<<><<<
