In order to get speed, you need a GPS. They do make speed sensors for fish finders, but from my experience they are very inaccurate. Have you checked craiglist or eBay?.. I would recommend looking for a used Eagle 320.. Good unit and cheap. Has temp and depth, but no speed.
Here is one i found right away...

Yea, they make them, but i would disagree they are accurate. The best way to get speed is a GPS. I have seen it plenty of time were guys think they are doing 40mph with the speed sensor or their tachometer, but when they GPS it, it is usually off my 5+ mph.. I guess it depends on how accurate you want to know how fast you are going.

Hey Alex,
I have a Garmin fishfinder (maybe 9 years old) that was on my boat when I got it that's laying around not being used. If speed is not important, it should work fine for your needs. Let me know, I've never used it but the guy I bought my boat from kept everything in great shape so I'm sure it works fine. I'll sell it really cheap if you want it.

Hey tim how much do you want for it? i just remembered that i have an old hand held gps that i could use for speed. so temp and depth is really all i need... and yea my neighbor had one of those wheels on his old boat and he tested it against a gps and it was about five mph off...
