Looking to buy the ultimate musky boat (for our area of course).... but not sure what she looks like. I have a 14.5 2001 Lund deep V rebel with a 4 stroke 2002, 9.9 Evinrude engine, electric downriggers, livewell, 24v Minn Kota (the one Archie wrote about), and much more. The boat was built for Round Valley Laker fishing, but having Musky fever has changed everything. If you know anyone that would be interested in taking this gem off my hands at a reasonable price, please let me know and for how much..... Would also entertain a trade and cash deal as well.
Also would like some suggestions on what is the ideal Musky boat for our area (Mercer Lake, trolling only, Greenwood and the River anything goes). Like the build of the tuffy esox magnum but wish it was bit smaller and came as a jet boat....
Any suggestions?

Like the website ;D. Wish there was tiller type setup especially for trolling, but understand why one needs the forward console when on the river. Great opening trailer where they drive the boat right on to the rock, impressive.

Ive been trying to figure that out for a long time.I dont know if there is one boat that covers all and if there is i might have it.I can fish chautauqua, the cave and local lakes including mercer.I can also fish select areas on the delaware. Its not a jet but there are a lot of good places to fish were i can get to.I'm not sure how a jet would do on the bigger lakes.Let me know if you find one.Hopefully i dont own two boats by then.Bob ???

Thanks Bob, I know your right.... Three distinct bodies of water and no boat that is ideal for all 3. If I go with maximum potential on location, then Archie's idea of a jet boat is probably the safest route... But boy those midwest Muskie boats look so nice. Have you seen an Esox Magnum Tuffy? http://www.tuffyboats.com. Has all the goodies but probably gets eaten by the Delaware and is way.. way overqualified for Mercer. I guess this is the fun part of looking for a new lady... I mean boat.
