It looks like I’m in need of new deep cycle trolling motor batteries.  Any recomendations on some good batteries that are reasonably priced and perform well?

I am a big fan of Interstate batteries.  Have never made the investment into AGM type so no input on those.

I can't answer a ton of boat questions, but I can answer this one! I run an old Lowe 16 footer. Thing is heavy as a tank. I ran auto zone batteries and then got an interstate battery and was only ever getting 4-5 hours out of each one. Buddy of mine recommended a Deka made one sold by Napa. Cost me an arm and a foot, ($300) roughly, but It lasts nearly 3x longer per outing. Not sure how heavy your boat is, as a lighter boat is probably just fine with a standard battery, but the deka gel battery through Napa is far and away better imo for a heavier rig.
