There hasn't been much going on, on the message board the last few days. So I guess this is a good time to tell everyone that I bought a NEW BOAT!!! ;D 😮 😛
I should get it in a couple of weeks. It's a 15ft Express duck boat. Nothing fancy, no live well or built in coolers or built in gas tank, etc. Just a lot of space and large casting platforms. I had a 20hp four stroke Honda put on and a 62lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor put up front. Also got a 24 volt system with an on board charger installed. All for the low,low price of only one leg. 😉
I know there is plenty more stuff I need but I'm going to have to figure out which bank to rob first!!

Four stroke is key.I'll never get a two again.24 v system will put you on the electric only lakes for the whole day.Another good choice.Alot of space is whats going to keep you on the boat all day.So important.I'll tell my dad to get ready for a lot of release forms from a Tom Sabia.I smell a 50"er comming.Ok, now i'm just being silly.Bob

Sounds like a winner Tom. The thrill of a new boat is something else. I agree on buying the bare bones model (whether by choice or necessity). That way, as you add something new you can enjoy it by itself; not to mention that you can get exactly what you want or need, exactly the way you want it.
