Hey guys, just read a good thread on the MI22 sight that encouraged their members to show pics of their boats as well as how they are loaded. Thought it would be a great idea here as I am always looking at "pimping out" my ride further....

Rockproof Boat - 17 foot, 30" sides, 65Jet and 9.9 kicker on the back and polyethylene covering the bottom for the river / rocks. Lowrance LCX25c on the console and a bottomline fishfinder attached to the minn kota maxxum 80# thrust. 2 canon mini mags not pictured, 3 down-east as well. Protournament series 300 battery charger and 3 optima batteries. Unfortuantely still waiting to get her a muskie (got the boat in may used to have 15' lund).

Still need to get a transom mount trolling motor for Mercer / Echo (eventually Cooper River). I am working on either getting a weld to attach permanent down-east or just put them in the back corner (probably easier).

Looking forward to seeing the other posts. {0}} <<<<><<<

Sorry it's not an action shot I'll get one next time I'm back in Jersey which won't be till November. That's my boat with the cover pulled back on the deck. KL SportFisherman Pro, yes it's a plastic boat! When fully loaded it features: bow mounted trolling motor, FishEasy 2 FF, 2 rear downriggers, 4 rod holders, GPS, carpeted deck at the bow and rear seats, storage compartents, bow swivel seat, portable lights for night, oars, then of course all the normal muskie fishing gear. Not all of that gear is mine it's mostly my fishing buddy Rich's (titaniumspinnerbait) and when this little boat is loaded is kinda funny being such a little boat with so much techno. It's first fish was a muskie, but has also tasted catfish, bass, and pickerel since it's debut with me this year. Will be looking for the big momma this fall though.

If any of you are more interested in a rock proof boat, I just posted Brent's personal boat on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors.....otohosting If you have any questions, send Brent an e-mail at rockproofboats@earthlink.net or call him at 717-957-3282. He can also custom build as well (I got 30" sides done on mine and an external jet). Thanks Joe

Wow, another chance to post my favorite picture of my boat...

Ahhhhhh, who am I kidding, it's not the boat that really matters, it's watching your 5 year old fighting a Shad like Jimmy Houston that really matters.

For now my fishing boat has to serve double duty as our family (6) pleasure boat. I can convert everything in less than 10 min.

Hey,

Looks like a nice outfit Opti. With a rig like that you should be able to handle both the bay and the lakes in this area. I wish my family had a desire to hang out on my boat. 🙁
