I'm back from the weekend at Antons. Not a lot of fish caught but a great time for sure.14 guys and seven rooms booked.Good food and a lot of muskie talk.We got up sat morning only to have to shovel our boats out.Thought we were in wisc.Saturdays fishing ended with me catching a 29"er,Dave little catching a 26"er and loosing one,Damian loosing one,and Chads dad catching a 40"er on a 3"@#&%^^#$@ .Sorry this is hard.On a 3" spoon.Sundays stats were Archie with a 41"er trolled out of the depths, and Toms buddy Chuck, with a 40"er trolled up out of the depths. Also matt missing one, again out of the depths. As much as the vets hate being out fished,I am very happy with who caught these fish. This trip was a great time and it was good to meet some of the guys we haven"t already met. Thanks for everyones participation and Bob at antons has informed me they will be donating again for next year.Thank you Bob and Trish.Bob Jones ;D

Had a great time as well! Had a follow at Monksville today. It was my first time on that lake so I spent most of the time exploring. Thanks for the good times everyone! I think we just got ourselves a new member! My dad was reliving his Minnesota days all over again!

Had a great day fishing with Chris Gatley and his buddy Brad.
Chris is an excellent fisherman who never gave up. I learned alot about trolling and reading water and putting it all together. Think we had one strike on the troll. Then we had a fish take a shot at a Bulldog while casting. Nothing hooked up.

Thanks again Chris.

It was a great time with a lot of memories: shoveling out the boats, slipping on the deck, and all the ice on the lake Sunday. Was fantastic to get a fish in the boat. Looking forward to going back to the Milford Diner to chat with that lovely waitress "Hot Girl". Thanks to everyone and especially to Musky Matt who didn't snore or stink up the bathroom.

We may only see what we look for.

Awesome time! One of these days BigD is going to catch up with VirtualD.
A big thank you to Archie for putting up with my snoring (he claims) and to Matt for trying to put me on a fish. I'm looking forward to my next trip.

Hey,

Well boys, if I've had a better birthday I can't remember it. One sub-legal and a hook up with a MUCH nicer fish is about all one can ask for.
It was great getting to know some of you guys outside of the meetings. Maybe next time I'll put more of an emphasis on the social end of it than the fishing end of it. Tom and Chuck, I want to party with you boys!!!
Fred and Scott, as usual, good fishing with you both. Definately a destination to add to the books.

Ill second and third that. I had a great time good to see some fish caught even the virtual Dieteir looks happy. they do exsist big D. Learned a good release lesson If you dont think your ready to unhook a fish because your hands are to cold and dont work wait till they work. being hooked through the thumb and still attached to a 20 lbs thrashing musky is not my idea of fun. youve got to be carefull long nose hook outs the better choice. Can't wait for the next outing. musky matt L 🙂
