Want to thank The Marsh Creek State Park (DCNR), Marsh Creek Bass Club, Ltd. and The Chester County Bass Masters for working together and making improvements to Marsh Creek Park for us fisherman. They dredged out the "winter" ramp area and applying a layer of stone on the Lyndell side of the Marsh Creek Lake. This effort was supplied for at little or no costs through donations of time and material to improve the launching facilities at Marsh Creek Lake. Thanks to the above organizations for their efforts to improve the lake facilities for the general public.
Big Kudos to all that made this happen [&]]. I have also heard they plan on putting a floating dock on that ramp too...that will make my boat happy, she doesn't like all the rocks scratching her up when we fish in the winter... 😉

Seb,
Must have been trying to post my original reply at the same time you were answering Barry. Regardless, thanks for posting this. As I had wanted to say, we should contact those clubs and offer our help in any project that would be suitable for a joint effort on our part.
While we do our share of either stocking our own fish, or helping the state stock their's, we have been rather lax in our habitat improvement efforts lately. The last I recall was a trash pickup that few if any of us attended. The shows and raising money is all well and good but, while we can buy many fish to stock or minnows to feed the fish the state stocks, without decent lakes, with the right structure and clean oxygenated water to put them in, it seems all a waste of time, energy and money.
Alright, down off my soapbox, congrats and thanks to those whose efforts will ultimately benefit us all.

Yep, here is the post:
The Marsh Creek Bass CLub cleanup of Marsh Creek will be Saturday March 22nd at the Conestoga Rd bridge 7:30 am
I will try and be there and think a lot of guys should help out. I am hoping it isn't the weekend I work at Cabelas for Daiwa. I am waiting for the schedule from them, but it always seems to be the same weekend. That is why I couldn't make it last year.
