Susquehannamusky1,

The contest is run every year from Jan 1st to Dec 31st. It is a friendly competition in the club that runs on the honor system. Points are rewarded for each fish that is caught measuring over 30". The winner of each division receives a plaque at the end of the year (or whenever Matt gets around to ordering them :P) The standings are updated when I recieve reports..and can be located at http://mi50.com/release_con.html

We have several different divisions. First is the mens/womens local and open. The difference between local and open is: Local = PA/NJ Waters - Open = All waters outside PA/NJ. The mens/women division is a beginner division everyone starts out in. The winner of the men/womens every year moves up to the master division. Hope this makes sense.

Well for a fish to count for the contest it must be at least 30". The fish must be reported to the me by using the release form http://www.mi50.com/docs/relea.....form50.pdf. The way the points work is a 30" fish = 4pts. Every inch above 30 = 1pt..so if it is a 35" fish you get 4pts for fish and 5pts for 5inches above 30" so a 35" fish = 9pts.

Hopefully that explains he contest, if you have any more questions please let me know.

Thanks,
Sebastian

How do I enter my fish. Is there an online form or do I have to fill out the form and mail it to the web admin? If so, how can I obtain that address?

Dave,

There will be a change soon in the sending in release forms since we will have a new release chairman very soon. I will post all the new info once the change has been made. For now you can get the form and either email/scan or mail to me. The email address and home address is on the form

http://www.mi50.com/docs/relea.....form50.pdf

If you have any other questions or problems, please email me SebSkie@comcast.net or post here.

Thanks,
Sebastian
