Spoke with James Haworth, the owner of TI. Last years deal was a closeout special so we will not see rods at 50% off but he will offer us 30% off on all rods and tackle. He's emailing me the prices today. Stay tuned for updates if you're interested in ordering. I really hope to be at the Dec meeting but you never know.
I will repeat what Tom Peacock said in the talkin tackle forum, my 7'9" TI Jerkbait rod is my favorite rod right now. Wish I had picked up a few more rods at those prices. The jerkbait rod is now 7'6".
As an added bonus he asked if we do any charitable or kids events. I filled him in and he will provide lots of prizes for next years Kids Day. He will be putting out some bass rods and lures for the first time in 2014, so I told him they would be more appropriate for the kids.
