efforts have already begun:
Mercer got 185 9.5" fingers (anotehr 315 to be stocked).
Greenwood will probably be stocked end of next week (2,000).
Looks like another banner year - over 8k fingerlings raisedto the 9-12" area.

PA Muskie Update - Floating stocking this week (more details to be posted this weekend).
Bob went to State College to meet with the PA Fish & Game Commission (All 3 PA Chapters attended - Penn Ohio, 3 Rivers, and us). At the meeting
there were 3 topics discussed - What we like, What we don't like, and What we would change with the ongoing efforts of the PAFGC. Meeting lasted over 6
hours. Bob had great discussions with NE PA biologist, hatchery manager and head of PAFGC.
August Meeting: Discussed MI50 poster and had poolside lure demonstrations. We need someone to spearhead the poster effort... please let us know if you're
interested.
Symposium: What are we going to do? Were only a month away and nothing has been done since the June meeting..... Bob and one other (Tom Long??) will attend
if we can raise the funds for the trip.
We need to finalize one more person and have someone create an itinary and expense budget. For those of you who have offerred to donate monies or assist in raising monies please contact me.
We need to have this done A.S.A.P. or we will not be able to attend. PA and NJ Fish and Game will have attendees at the Symposium.
MI50 Poster: We need someone to manage this process. We need someone who will bring a marked up poster to the next meeting where we can begin to create our
own identity.
Muskie School: Right around the corner... literally next weekend. Please coordinate with Bob those of you who are guiding. Let's show the fishing public what they are missing!
Triple Chapter Challenge: October 2nd... Hopatcong. Anyone up for a pre fish? September 24/25??
October Meeting: Cabelas, Hamburg PA at 8am. Have meeting, buy some lures and

Thank you Deiter for posting this and thank you Joe for helping out at the meeting. This club has acheived more in two years than anyone could have predicted. With float stocking and fund raising we put ourselves in a position to make an impacted on muskie fishing in the east. There isnt a person in pa that would have said we would be shaping the muskie program, but here we are doing just that.I'd like to thank everyone for making that happen.Bob
