· Treasurer’s Report - $4,276.49 – still a few checks to be put in
· Cabela’s Meeting/Seminar is still a big question. Bob can not get answers from Cabela’s.
o Bob is still pushing for this, even if we don’t have Tony Grant
o We can have a Lure Raffle table at the seminar
o Bob will have info shortly on the date, advertising, etc.
· Fish Commission Meeting
o Attended by Fred and Bob Jones
o Out of season fishing is OK, also to photo, BE CAREFUL WITH THE FISH!!!
o 36" limit is what we (as a club) pushed for because that will increase the population of fish in a given lake almost as well as having a 40" limit, according to research
o Selected Enhanced Water that we pushed for in our area are:
§ Susquehanna
§ Lehigh
§ Karcher
§ Beltzville
§ Marburg
§ Schuylkill
· Next meeting will concern stocking
o Bigger size will mean less fish and even some areas that don’t get stocked
§ Areas that we don’t think should be stocked:
· Darby Creek
· Tidal Delaware River
· Lower Perkiomen Creek
§ Discussion on improving natural Muskie reproduction in our area. Sebastian suggested that we look into improving spawning areas in the Susquehanna and Delaware.
§ Discussion on stocking
· Club Secretary will begin post on top 5 lakes we’d like to see as Enhanced Water
· Club Election Discussion
o Ballots will be mailed to all members in January
· MI50 is in the lead for the International Club’s Membership Contest. The prize for this contest, which our club will almost certainly win, is a week for two at the Lake of the Woods Resort.
o There will be a raffle within the membership of our club
· Matt Lysek caught a fish on Tuesday that takes him to 119 points, with Archie leading at 127 points. Greg Ridge is close at 99 points
· Tom Long is leading overall and local with 83 points overall, Tom Sabia is 15 points behind
· Largest fish is 46" hybrid
· More fish caught this year than last year
o 84 fish total caught – 59 caught locally
· The Raffle included 5 baits from the club and one donated by Greg Ridge. Raffle winners included Barry, Matt, DL, Tom S., and Greg (how’s that for good karma coming right back). The raffle raised $125. for the club.
