There has been some request for elections so we will entertain them in the spring of 06.Maybe march.We can decide at the nov meeting.Think about it.If you would like to throw your hat in the ring for any position you should post it here so everyone knows.Lets give everyone time to think about there options.If there are any officers who would like to step down,nows probhably the time to anounce it.Remember,everyone has a life outside of this club.Keep that in mind when thinking about all participants,present and future.Thanks,Bob

Bob, I would like to step down as the NJ Rep (for next year) and give another member a chance. I've gotten the chance to meet and communicate with some good people at the hatchery and MI22. If there is anyone interested, please contact me and I will hook you up with all the contacts. Very easy job and you get to learn a ton about the stocking efforts in NJ. Thanks Joe

I would suggest that we open all officer positions for election this year EXCEPT for the position of President. This club has grown quite nicely under the guidance of Bob Jones and I think it would set us back to have the possibility of a new president in 2006.
I also think that officer terms should be for two years, with elections happening in either Feb. or March of every even year.
That's my opinion, let's hear yours.
Bob - can you list the titles of the officers? That way guys can think of what position they may be able to help at.

I would like to see a women president mabey a Hooters girl. I hate to joke but I couldn't help it I too will offer my position up I am aready involved with so much in the club. We need more support and my support is a given so step up fellas. Tom

I wouldn't mind taking a shot at tournament director for next year. I can't make many weeknight meetings, I don't know if that would be a problem.

We average only about 8-15 members at any given meeting, yet we have a membership of 50 or more guys.
I am proposing that we mail a ballot out to all members of MI50 so that everyone can have a say in who will represent us in the coming year and we have a process in place when our chapter grows into a larger organization. This ballot could go out after the February meeting, with vote count and any new officers introduced in March.
This is just my suggestion to keep things as fool-proof as possible. If anyone has any different/better ideas, please post 'em.
