Craig-
what kind of muskie numbers are we looking at for Lake Hopatcong?
Many tigers?
Pure Strains?
Is the state or knee deep club placing many in there or is it a better walleye fishery?
Thanks

Everything is up in the air as far as stocking goes for hopatcong , The tiger program might get scrapped . The state has given the hatchery another 10% budget cut and somethings got to go . Unfortunitly the budget cuts aren't going to come from other sections but rather the hard working overburdened hatchery workers .
We can thank our animal right activest loving Bradly Cambell for that one.
Ain't New Jersey wonderfull

Hey Chris,
I don't have the numbers right in front of me, but I know we stock 1300 tigers and 1300 purebreds annually in Hopatcong. We also stock 120,000 2-inch walleye and 10000 4-inch walleye annually. The esoscids are 10-inch fingerlings dry feed tigers and minnow raised purebreds. Good fishing for everything there once you learn the lake. Big lake lots of features and boat traffic.
Give me a call about the classroom setting you are looking for might be able to work something out at the hatchery.
I can check some info at work on thursday.
