I was looking through a local media book "Happenings Magazine" a guy holding a big muskie <<<<><<< took my immediate attention.
Here it is an advertisement for a Joe Bucher presentation on Monday April 10th 7 PM at the Scranton Cultural Center. Tickets are available at the Scranton Cultural Center box office or the Everhart Museum.
I'm a new guy on the block and wouldn't want to instigate anything that would hijack Joes presentation but perhaps the MI#50 leadership can get in touch with the right powers to have a little table or something for MI representation.
Just my two pennies.

This is great!!! I've met Joe and am going to try to contact him. Wonder if he'll have time to go ski hunting!!! Kevin, I believe we met at Cabela's. Don't you live near Falls? We need to get together when this weather breaks. I'll post a note when I find out more about this event. Have a great one!

Ed,
Yes.. I am the guy that you met at Cabelas!
I actually live in a town about 3 miles from the Susquehanna at Falls called Lake Winola. Unfortunately, there are no Muskies on our lake.
I just joined MI and definately plan on attending the Jue Bucher seminar in April ...Perhaps we can chat about connecting to hunt "skis" when the water opens up in NEPA!

Cool!!! I'll be looking forward to it. I wrote to Joe and unfortunately he'll only be in town for the day. I was hoping he might have time to hit the water!!! I would have loved the opportunity to fish with the gentlemen I consider to be THE premier musky fisherman in the country! I'll be looking for you. Have a great one. Supposed to start warming up next week. In the 60's by next weekend?!?!

Last night Kevin (The Optiangler) and myself went to the Joe Bucher seminar. Joe gave a very good talk on targeting big fish/game and the method to use. I was surprised by how quickly an hour and a half went by. Of course, afterwards I had to go out and say "HI." I ended up walking out with Joe and a few of the people who organized the event. I'm supposed to look him up when I get to Eagle River, WI for the Alliance tourney. I'll have to keep in touch with him and give him the dates I'll be there. I'll see if I can't swing a day on the water with him. That would be a trip. I'll go into more detail of his presentation later. Have to go get ready for work now! [[^] The bane of all of us Musky Hunters!!! Should call in sick and go get some lures wet!!!
