PA Fishery Manager, Marty Misenko, has told Bob that 2 weeks worth of minnows will be given to the Muskies at Mt Pleasant this Fall.
Discussed the possibility of using a 20,000+ tank if donated to the club
Chris Gatley has a lead on a pond that we may be able to use and is following up with owner.
Float stocking this Fall with PA….The more people involved the better. Dates and times to be announced.
Discussed the possibility of an Anton’s outing in Oct or Nov. Bob will follow up with Anton’s to find out when the rooms start opening up…Oct or Nov. Outing would run Saturday through Sunday.
A Fall Upper Delaware River outing discussed. Bob mentioned that member Tom Long may offer his house for overnight stay. Joe Esoxnut also offered his place as well. Outing would go two days…anywhere on the Big D.
Emphasis was made on quick catch and release during the hot summer months.
Release Standings were made; however, it was widely acknowledged that many have a few to turn in yet.

Efforts must be made to pair up the inexperienced members with veterans to help put them on a fish
Letter shall be drafted which will ask the NJ Fish Managers to consider stocking the Rancocas Creek, DOD Lake, Big Timber, and others. We agreed that the Cooper River is not a place many of us would want to venture.
Treasury report: 1381.00 following checks for 500.00 to Hackettstown Hatchery and 35.00 to Muskies inc for tourney insurance. Deposits during the next few weeks are expected to be 500.00 from Bob Jones and 95.00 from this meetings lure raffles.
Mi50.com web site records record number of visits for the month of June
Library section will be added to web site. Muskie Hunter Magazine has given us written permission to post some of their articles for this purpose. Other content can come from Muskies Inc, and member suggestions.
Section to be added to the photo gallery for non-muskie fish caught while fishing for muskies. Recently nice Walleyes, Pike, and Tarpon were caught. Bob claims he was muskie fishing when he hooked the 6 foot Tarpon.
The new Shimano Compre Rods are expected in Sportsmen’s center within the next few days.
We discussed ‘taking the high road’ when confronted with anti-muskie fishermen. A little Education is what it is all about.
Membership continues to grow.
Storytime: Included Archie’s mugging at the ramp, and Bob Jones telling “Jack and Jill went up the Hill” while he was trying to fish.
Next meeting will be held the Tom Sabia Estate. Bar-b-q and pool lure demos. Time and directions will be posted.
