We have never given an award for OVERALL BIGGEST before, only LOCAL, and I'm not sure any other chapters do.

No dad, your correct. The standard awards that have been given in the past go as follows.Top masters division, top overall{mens division} top local, largest local, top Jr's and top womens.I don't recall any others in the years Ive been with ch22 and ch50.Now if we want to change those thats another story? And there was a lot of confusion when going over that at the meeting.Bob

The notes I took at the meeting reflected what we discussed. There definitely was some confusion and question regarding the categories. We should stick with what we've done in the past, since that seems to have worked for us (and others). I really don't think anyone was advocating a change here, we just got a little confused on our descriptions.

Change is good and each club is different I like the idea of add a category or two. The guys in this club seem to travel allot and I was disappointed when I first found out the way we had it set up. I would of had biggest fish of the year. I don't want to make any more work but I wonder what the rest of you guys think ? Tom

Hey,

Some guys have more time; some guys make more time; some have more money to travel to far off prime waters; some wish their wives would give them more money to travel to far off prime waters; some are good at it; some are not so good at it; some need recognition; some shun the recognition. I say make it simple. Award for the biggest fish of the year and be done with it. This, coming from a guy who can't catch a cold much less a musky!!!! ;D

Since it's a member of the Esox family, I think we should have one for the biggest Pickerel! Or the most Pickerel! I was hoping to be heading out in half an hour, but my skies keep flashing! Think I'll just go back to bed!!!
