The KOTM Tournament was held yesterday at Marsh Creek Lake. We had a total of 20 vying for this dubious honor! After check in, we launched into a fog bank on the lake. The water temps were between 62 - 64 degrees. At 7:55 am, Matt Smith from Team Tadpole, stuck the first fish, coming in at 37". The winner and big fish and Calcutta , Mike D. from Team Bloody Fingers hooked up with a 38 1/2 " at 1:25pm. There were numerous reports of guys "raising" fish, but these were the only two fish caught yesterday. Lunch was provided by Carmine's and very tasty!
I would like to thank everyone that helped out yesterday to get this together. It's only fitting that Mike D, who became KOTM, brought tables and chairs , Thanks big guy! And thanks to Jeremy , who once again, came thru for us, with 2 Cabelas gift cards ( $150. each). And I would also like to thanks Tom Long and Tom Sabia, for all their support as well!
So all hail to the 2014 King of The Marsh...Mike D

Top half of tail is touching the board in the picture. In my opinion, if I had the head up against the board and pinched the tail she would have measured 39" 😛 All in good fun but we only had to beat 37", so I think we're OK ;D
We have had a few guys suggest a river outing but what area can support 20 boats? None that I know of.
