Well... the weekend is looking good and I have made the decision to go fishing and push my boat winterization back another week [&]]
Since I haven't boated a musky all year, I MUST give it one more shot before putting the boat away for a long winter nap.
Also I'm dying to try out some of the new hawgseeker baits which came last week.
I'm not asking for any honey holes but just asking for recommendations of lakes to consider which may optimize my chances of becoming successful. I was thinking Greenwood Lake, Hopatkong, or perhaps something else within approx. a 2hr drive of NE Pennsylvania.
Helpful advice appreciated
Kevin

At least you can get out on the water. The bearing job on my trailer looks to be impossible to fix. Due to the age of the trailer (1987) parts are not available. The hub is shot. I bought a new one and it doesn't fit this axle. So now I sit with my boat and trailer in the garage and a beautiful weekend is passing by! This sucks! I may have to buy a new trailer!

Ed, I doubt you need to get a new trailer. Complete hubs are available in several sizes. I'd suggest taking the other one off and with you to purchase another.
Is there damage to the axle? Can you post a pic of the axle/hub area? Even if the axle was trashed, you could buy an axle to replace it.
I had a sears 1971 trailer that I got all axle parts for in 1998, so I'm sure age isnt the issue. They're pretty much generic.
