As a member of the PR/Education Work Group, I am soliciting possible locations for a Seminar and/or Flea Market. Possibilities are Cabela's, Eagle Fire Co. in New Hope and whatever suggestions you give me. Thank you in advance for your help with this. We need to get moving so that we have an even more successful seminar this year.

Dieter, maybe you should post about the successes of past fishing flea markets. Is it possible to hook up with the trout or bass guys to pull this together? It may give us a chance to educate more people who think our fish are the cause of them not catching any of their fish.

We may only see what we look for.

I've never been to a fishing flea market that didn't attract at least a couple of hundred people. Any fishing flea market that we put on is going to attract that many fishermen, wheter we hook up with other clubs or not. We could offer to allow other organizations to set up a booth at our flea market and even to offer seminars, in exchange for cost sharing. I think that if we look to break even on the cost of the location rental by selling tables, we could make our money on raffle tickets and by selling our Guide for a Day.

I'm unfamiliar with the concept of a "Fishing Flea Market" . What type of items would be avavilable? How about possible solicits from some Canadian or Wisconsin Musky Lodges? What are your thoughts?
What about the possiblility of having a booth at the Sports Show in Harrisburg in February? Nice opportunity for some good PR... Just a thought
Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big
