Hey Tom,
I'd just like to thank the academy for this nomination...ooops! sorry wrong acceptance speech. Seriously its been a treat to watch my favorite thing in the whole wide world grow to impressive proportions over the past two years....the bank account!!!!
It has been a real education in how a group of guys can get together for the purpose of bettering something other than themselves and I, for one, am honored to have been a part of it. Kudos go out to this small group of dedicated individuals that give of their time and money to promote, propagate and ensure this fish and its future. This is especially true because so few had been actively involved in fishing for them before joining the chapter.
The new group of inductees are much better prepared to take this chapter to new heights than we, the initial group, were. They've seen the pitfalls of arguments and indecisiveness; have contacts established with not only the states' biologists but also the decision makers; and, with Bob still at the helm, should be able to guide the chapter in a straightforward manner that produces more in less time and effort. Go get 'em guys!!!
