I have forgotten if Marsh Creek has docks or a pier and presume most lakes with docks may have them removed or will be soon removed. Loading and unloading my 20 ft boat would be tough without a dock or pier but I would really like to make the 11/18 outing if I can team up with someone.

What I do remember about Marsh Creek is that it was hard to get to the access area.
Directions anyone :-

Thanks,
Kevin Treat

Kevin,
Here's the directions for Lyndell Ramp which as of this past weekend was open, and is open 24 hrs., whereas the Park ramp is not. These directions are coming from I 76:

Take exit 312 ( Rt. 100 , Pottstown Pike ), go North until you reach the town of Eagle, approx. 5 - 10 min.

Turn Left onto Little Conestoga Rd., follow this road until you come to "T" in the road.

Bear left staying on LC Rd., which turns into Marshall Rd.

Continue on Marshall, until you reach the intersection

Turn Left onto Creek rd, going approx. 1 mile, passing Campground on left

At the next intersection ( Bait shop/ store ) turn left onto Lyndell Rd.

Follow to top of hill ( you'll see lake to your left), and continue down to boat ramps

Hope this helps you

Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big
"jerk"

Kevin,

There are two ramps on the Lyndell side..

1. One if a concrete ramp with two perminate concrete docks that stay in all year..The problem with this ramp is that if the water level is down (which is very likely since they do drawdown to winter levels usually in Nov) it is impossible to get any sort of big boat off your trailer.

2. There is a dirt ramp with is much better when the lake level is down. The problem with this ramp is that there is no dock, and the shore has lots of rocks....

I will try and stop by the lake one of these days before Friday to see the lake level...and let you know. If anyone stop by before me please post..

7am it is...

Also I stopped by the lake on the way to work this morning..The level is actually above normal so all the guys with the big boat should have no trouble launching...!! So hope to see everyone show up...

See you guys at 7am...

Oh and Team YoungGuns....better stay off my spots...!.

"spinning crap" - ouch!

Damn, I hate it when Seb makes such a good point.

It almost makes him sound like he knows what he's talking about...

I am trying to make it work for tomorrow to fish with Big D. I am long 2 tickets to the Birds / Fish tomorrow, lower level, section 109, row 26. Anyone know someone that would have interest? Would only ask $100 per ticket ($75 face) and I would find a way to either drop off tonight or early tomorrow. If interested call my cell 609-273-7756.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
