Is it true that Musky where stocked in the Maurice River below the Union Lake Dam. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey phisnuts, The Maurice river was stocked with Northerns for quite a few years. I dont recall seeing tigers or pures being stocked in the river on N.J. stocking list. No idea if the northerns took and if there is a fishable population.Union lake was stocked with tigers a few years, I think the tiger stockings were discontinued.Heard Union is a very nice lake, good size and structure. The pures would probably do well here, I here there is opposition to this by the bass guys.Funny since Greenwood has had muskys for 15 years and many bass fisherman think it is the best bass fishery in N.J.
