Final Rulemaking #181, adopted today, finalizes the process by which our new Muskie, Pike and Pickeral (Ed) rules effectively become law on 1-1-07. In reading over the fine print I am again convinced that the letters written by our club members made the difference between having a 36" limit and the 40" limit adopted by the Commission. All members, family members and friends who wrote to the Commission should be extremely proud of this little proof of the power of democracy in action. [[%&]]

This is great! My only concern is how well word will be distributed to the general public! It would be nice if on the fishing reg books we get when we buy our licenses they had a notice to new creel sizes and limits. Hopefully, then people would know! But otherwise, way to go everybody!
