Yes, there really is a Santa Claus.

Thank you to all of the members of our club, as well as friends, family and acquaintances who sent letters to the state asking for it all! Who says that a few Muskie fishermen can't make a big difference.

Life is GOOD!

Wow is all I can say looks like the State has heard us and its the beginning of trophy Waters for us. We need to pat ourselves on the back and move on to the next task. I think we should have a party we have to celebrate our accomplishments we have some cash and we deserve it. We could have a canoe pray at the Furnace or anywhere. The point is we have done allot and its paying off I think we can be proud of our efforts as a group. I am proud and positive the future is going to be great. Tom

Great to see this. Our next project is to communicate these changes to "Joe Fisherman". Not everyone reads the info that comes with the license every year. This should be on the agenda fo next meeting.

Dieter - This should be in our report to MI for inclusion in the Muskie magazine. A highlight of our successes!

I still think it would be a good idea for us to send a thank you note to the commissioners. Never hurts to get our name in front of them.

Hey,

Well gentlemen, it would appear that we're something more than a ragtag collection of fishing nuts. I don't believe we could have accomplished anything bigger, in such a short period of time, than to have that huge an impact on the fishing regulations across the entire state. I hope our bretheren on the west side agree with what we've worked to do.
I agree that we need to communicate these changes to the general public ASAP. I also hope the yahoos that shoot them with arrows get the message as well.
