Hey Guyz

I had the pleasure of sitting in a fire house for 8 painful hours last week taking my NJ boating safety course. It reminded me of my high school days and why I hated school so much way back when.

The Instructor did mention that non NJ boaters were also expected to have a coast guard approved boating safety course as well to be able to boat in NJ waters.

This could mean tickets for many unsuspecting PA boaters that = BIG $s out of your pockets .

Mike

JUST FYI
Out-of-state residents who are at least 16 years old and in
New Jersey for less than 90 days may operate a power vessel
on the waters of the State of New Jersey if they possess a certifi
cate issued by their state of residence or they have in their
possession written proof of successful completion of a boat
safety course approved by another state, the U.S. coast Guard,
or the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators
(NASBLA).

At least you did'nt have the cavity search done : 😮 I thought you could run an out of state boat 9.9 or less for the day with no problem.

No, that's not true! that actually warrants a cavity search for the unsuspecting out of state boaters {&}.

Seriously if you have a motor you have have the safety certificate.
