I had a good time and found some good info if the Pa guys are 1/2 as nice and helpful as Jersey our future will be great. Archie was great and really got the room talking muskies even if it wasn't all positive he made his point. I am proud to be a member and ready to make the fishing better what's next? Tom

I agree with Tom. Interesting in that most of the individuals at the forum were real local (+/- 20 miles) and mostly fished the Salem Canal (apparently it's the only waterway besides the River where they can use more then a 9.9 -- which is the only other waterway - Union). I spoke with a couple of the guys (selling the MI50 raffles) and they spoke about how the state had stocked 6" Tigers into Union (I would call them feeders) about 10 years ago and none were caught (let's see they have natural stripers in that lake along with a decent smallie population and a ton of pickeral in the reeds - yeah no kidding). They did seem pretty interested in the Cooper River project and apparently next week is when the proposal to introduce Muskies to the CR system is reviewed and apporved. Apparently the forage in the Cooper River system is greater then Mercer (threadfin) and that there is a fish ladder where the forage can keep coming in (an all you can eat buffet for Mr. 40"!). Those that bot a raffle ticket were pretty excited about the opportunity to fish for Muskies. Maybe we can try and find a contact at the SJ Bass association and offer an Archie pitch (or to just provide color on the Muskie fishery). Seems that the waterways identified as potential Muskie fisheries in SJ can be counted on one hand.... that was caught in garabage disposal, very few. But if CR is anything like Mercer then it will be on KA fishery <<<<><<<
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
