Bob has called for elections to be held at the February meeting. To that end, now is the time to step up to the plate (as Damian has done) and nominate yourself, or someone you would like to see fill a certain position. I believe the elected positions will be as follows:
President
Regional Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
NJ Liason
Tournament Director
Stocking Czar
These may or may not be all of the postions. If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me!
Please use this post for any nominations, or to put your hat in the ring.
Since this will be a proper election, per our National Charter, all nominations will be put on a ballot. If a current officer steps down and there is only one nomination for that particular office (as I'm sure there will be), that person will automatically assume the position. I am guessing that with only 50 members, there won't be many "hotly contested" positions!

I am willing to serve in 2006 as the club Secretary, however, I would welcome anyone who might want to volunteer for the position to put their name on the ballot. I'm doing this job on a wing and a prayer, and I'm guessing there may be someone out there better suited to the position. ???
