Hi all,
I wanted to pass along some sad news the club found out a couple of weeks ago. Frederick Jones Sr., father of Fred Jr., Bob, Chuck and Debra Jones and grandfather of Chuck Jr. passed away April 17, 2018 at the age of 79. Fred Sr. was an original member of the club that he and his sons founded and was the original club record keeper and statistician.
Fred Sr. had many nice fish under his belt including a monster 49"+ from Cave Run and a beautiful 48" fish from Greenwood Lake in New Jersey. His favorite waters were Chautauqua, Greenwood and the Delaware River. He was a master with jerkbaits and loved to fish Suicks and Reef Hawgs.
Prior to becoming a hard core musky nut, Fred loved to hike and backpack. He summited Mt. Washington multiple times, the last coming at the age of 66.
Rest in Peace MuskieDad. You will be missed.
