I got this From basszilla from the bucks board musky matt L OK, I got hold of the PFBC's press secretary. Here's what he e-mailed me:
"Technically, the public comment period officially begins with a legal notice published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. When that occurs, we also publish it on the 'Laws and Regulations' section of our website. You can also receive an alert about the notice e-mailed to you by signing up for the Commision's new e-alert service at http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Ex.....livery.htm. Be sure to check 'Legal Notices' as one of the options for the type of information you'd like sent to you.
All that said, however, the Commission has long operated under the principle that any time a constituent takes the time to write to us, we consider that input - regardless of whether it is submitted during the official public comment period. So interested persons can submit written comments, objections or suggestions about the proposed rulemaking to the Executive Director, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, PO Box 67000, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7000. Comments may also be submitted electronically by completing the form at http://www.state.pa.us/Fish/regcomments. If an acknowledgement of electronic comments is not received by the sender within 2 working days, the comments should be retransmitted to ensure receipt. Electronic comments submitted in any other manner will not be accepted. Comments submitted by fax will not be accepted."

Please do not delay in sending a letter to our Fish Commission. This is the best way to let these folks know that they've got a bunch of dedicated Muskie fishermen in the eastern part of the state. If you have not already sent a letter or e-mail - PLEASE DO IT NOW!!!!!!!
