Interesting article on page 8 of this month's (Oct./Nov.)Musky Hunter mag about trapped skies in the spillway below Evergreen Lake near Bloomington, IL. With the help of the DNR they rescued 60 muskies and 14 saugeyes from the spillway and placed them back in the lake.
This got me thinking if we have this problem at the Nock. There have always been muskies in the spillway. Maybe we can try this here. What I don't know is if there is a "below dam fish barrier" or do washed over skies just swim down the Tohickon.
Any ideas?
We may only see what we look for.
