I went to Greenwood today to fish with my friend Steve and we had to launch at Willowpoint since all of the other marinas are closed for the season. No big deal. At about 2:30 pm I had to go to the bathroom.....bad. In 25 degree weather it doesn't matter if you have t.p. or not it's just too darn cold to go commando especially with all of the gear you are wearing (snowmobile suit, layers of jackets etc.).

We pull in to Sportsman's and there is a guy working on a boat there. I ask him very politely if I can use his restroom which is across the road and is more of an outhouse than a bathroom. He says, "sure, men's or ladie's, it doesn't matter this time of the year". I thank him profusely and head up to the restroom. As I approah the restroom I hear someone scream at me from in front of the marina asking me what I was doing. I politely said that his worker said I could use the bathroom and would he mind and literally pleaded with him. He said, "the restroom is for customers only". I told him that he was closed when we went by and that I really needed to use the restroom and I'd be sure to use his facility next time I was there. He said, "you a'int using my bathroom-go use the one where you paid your money".

I decided that it wasn't worth arguing with him at this point-I needed to find a damn bathroom. I said, "thanks anyway" thinking that might turn the corner for him. No dice.

I get back to Steve's boat and tell him what happened and the guy comes following me down the dock. He's got his camera phone and he snaps a picture of Steve's registration numbers and says, "can I help you guys?". Now bear in mind that he followed me to the boat and took a picture before he said a word. I reply, "you can help me by allowing me to use your bathroom. Please, sir." Steve asks why he won't allow it and the guy gives him the same treatment he gave me earlier. Steve says...."I understand that we didn't pay here but as a decent human being you should let the guy (me) use your bathroom." He says, "go use it where you paid". Steve then compliments him on his PR skills and asks him if this is how he attracts business to his facility. He gets smart back and by now I've had it. I told him I was gonna take a dump right on his sidewalk and basically threatened the guy with bodily harm at this point. He's lucky I "had to go" or he would have been swimming on a day when he wouldn't fare too well upon climbing back on the dock since it was bitter cold. The owner is a first class jerk and I told him that I was going to tell everyone what he did and that's exactly what I am doing.

I am asking that no one patronize this marina if you fish at Greenwood. Anyone that has no compassion to let someone use their OUTHOUSE is a scumbag in my book and doesn't deserve repeat business. My kindness and courtesy meant nothing to this man. I hope he doesn't believe in Karma.

I am going to put this all over the internet so that if someone does a google search they get to see what a $%@ this guy is. So if you see this post repeated elsewhere bear with me.
