hello, i'm new to boat fishing and need help finding locations i have a 18' fiberglass bass boat with a 115hp prop. motor i would like to start fishing the susky and delaware rivers but i'm unsure of suitable locations. i was told that just south of columbia bridge was deep enough for about 5 mile south to safe harbor dam. Is this true and if so how is the fishing in that area? i'm real eager to try new locations i'm getting tired of going to blue marsh and not cathing anything so any help would be appreciated. i'm from the kutztown area if anybody would like a local fishing partner drop me a line . dhellr@msn.com

Don't know too many places on the Delaware or Susky that I'd take a prop boat.
You should try more of the local Musky lakes: Marsh Creek and Nockamixon have both produced some Tigers this year.

Your only practical choices on the Susquehanna with a boat like that are behind the big power generation dams south of Harrisburg, but I've never fished them. I'm sure there are fish in there, but wouldn't know where to start. Beltzville is another option to consider for unlimited horsepower.
