Just watched the Gander Mountain TV show that I taped on my DVR(best invention since sliced bread!!!). Several Susquehanna River muskies have been immortilized on TV by Tom Dietz. Nice show about his family and relationship with his kids.
Tom, if you read this, it looks like you have a couple of fish catching boys. Pretty soon, they will want the Ranger, not the Durango!!

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for the compliments on my show! It was a thrill netting my son's first ever musky on TV! The show was filmed in my home state of Wisconsin, near Eagle River. I lived in Wisconsin for thirty seven years and it was neat getting back up to my home waters, which are a reachable eleven hour drive from my home in Dayton, Ohio. There were several pictures shown inside the show, however, of muskies I caught last year on the Susquehanna River. I really miss fishing that river, and plan on coming back to fish it this season. The show will air three more times this week, and I have the times and dates listed in the Outdoor Reports section of my web site at http://www.tomdietz.com. I hope you all can see my boys in action and the excitement of a eleven year old's first musky on the show. Good luck to all of you this coming year!

Hey Tom,
Thanks for posting the run times of the show, I'll be sure to catch it. Along with congrats on the T.V. show, I saw last night when I read my newest issue of Muskies, Inc. magazine that you had the top fish in January of 2005. Its a little late for congrats on that but it was great to see someone I actually no of place in the standings. I believe it was a 43" fish from the "River". Which "River" was that? yuk!yuk!

I watched the show myself. I taped (yikes!!!) it and watched it that night. I've already sent Tom an email asking him what lake (s) they were on up there. I'll be there again in August. And again, great job Tom. The show was awesomw to watch as you see someone on TV that you actually know! And I still watch the Joe Bucher shows every Saturday morning on FSN at 10AM. Have a great one. Let me know when you're coming this way and maybe we can hook up.
