Our local fire dept. Lake Winola / Falls Hose Co. is having it's annual multi species river tourney on 8/12.
I'd really like to fish the event but know my boat won't fair well on the river. Therefore, I am looking for a boating partner and would be willing to pay their entry fee.

The flyer didn't indicate if the tourney is C&R however there is a contact phone # which I will call to find out. I would hope and expect they would have some kind of provision for participants which practice a C&R ethic.

I called and talked to the tournament director today. As per their flyer the event is listed as a multi species event. However upon his clarification, this includes largemouth & smallmouth bass, rock bass, walleye, & catfish only. Therefore, we can assume the essox kind have some anemesty on that day.
