Hey guys I agree. This was my first Club Tourny, and had a great time. Matt was really fun to fish with , minus the "speedo"...Only kidding buddy! Chad did a great job lining up the BBQ , and organizing the registrations. Way to go Chad ! [&]] The really cool thing for me was sitting around talking with you guys afterward.
Maybe we should of had a pickerel tourny. Loads caught and seen... Pickerel Pete interested ???
All in all a great day ...can't wait til the next
Air Force 1... I still don't know where that came from

Got back this afternon from a very enjoyable reunion with a bunch of guys that were all stationed at the same remote radar site in Alaska, though not necessarily at the same time. Times ranged from the 50's through the late 70's. There was a guy there that I knew from when I was up there. We did an evening river cruise/dinner/musical revue. I would have loved to have had a pole off the back of the ship and done some river fishing!
Sounds like I missed a good one! Glad to see that you had the opportunity to catch the real sport fish of PA, Pickerel. Those pink finned sissies don't even compare! And any time the club wants to run a Pickerel tourney, I'd be the first in line to say I'll be there! Of course, we'd probably only catch those pink finned devils! ;D

Hooksets are free!!!
And there was a Bass Pro Shops just half a mile from the hotel! You know where I spent some time!!!

We had a great time also. Thanks Chad for the work of putting it all together. [&]]
It was also great to meet more of the club members as my work schedule doesn't make it possible to attend monthly meetings.
We started off the day with optomism as my partner had a follow on his second cast..... then I had a follow from what we believed to be the same fish about an hour later.
For the rest of the day, we couldn't buy the interest of a Muskie. >:(

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the kind words regarding the tournament. Seems like that was over a month ago. I flew out the next day for business so things have been a little nuts! Totally agree that Grumpys put out a nice spread for us. I can still taste that pulled pork and hot sauce. Those ribs were a killer as well. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day on the water, well at least from a sun tan perspective. Glad some of us saw fish. I sincerely thought this would be the year. On a positive note, the club made $200 from the Calcutta that didn't pay out!!! I still owe money for our insurance so I don't have a figure on what we made from the registration fee but we made money! Thanks again everyone for your support.
A big thank you to Kevin Treat of Metropolitan Optical for donating a sweet pair of Costa Del Mar's, they fit nice! If you’re looking for a nice quality pair of shades, give Kevin a call at (570) 585-8921. I'm sure he'd love to help you find a pair that meets your needs. Remember fishing is now the #1 sport for eye injuries!
Last but certainly not least, Brian Kroll from the famous BK Lures donated 5 awesome baits that we used in our raffle. For those that didn't win one or those that didn't get your favorite color, check out his site http://www.bklures.com/ Those that are interested in ordering, let me know and I'll coordinate a group order.
Thanks again guys for making this tournament a success!
Cheers!

Chad ,
I would definately be interested in hooking up with one of those baits. If you're able to get a group order together, keep me in mind. Unfortunately, those baits were already gone before my number came up. I was certainly "eyeing" them up. Thanks again...
