This years weather is a 180 degree turn around from last years endless spring we have already had more 90 degree days this year than all of last year.
I have heard of water Temps on Marsh to be close to 85 degrees and 80 degrees on the rivers . Please curve your fishing to early in the day or night if you must go out at all. These high temps stress fish out and delayed mortality is real with these high temps.

Don't you think 75% of the muskie caught in Marsh are caught by accident by bass fisherman? MI50 staying away helps some but the masses will continue to hook them on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and spooks while bass fishing. Besides the warm water, the bass fisherman are not prepared to land or release them properly. A friend of mine watched some guys bounce a 2 foot pure around the boat for 5 minutes trying to geta picture and then throw it back. It was floating dead in 5 minutes. These areas I mentioned seem to deserve more of our attention.

Thanks for posting this reminder ,Matt. The survival of the muskies is more important than my desire to catch them when the water is really hot. If anyone is targeting muskies right now in our area, please minimize the time out of the water. A picture is not that important, just get them back in the water.
