I am thinking of joining a club, I live in central NJ. I know Mi-22 is in North Jersey. And mi-50 is Penn-Jersey. I spend time in Blue Marsh every summer, In fact I am signed up to the Musky School in May for Blue Marsh. I do not fish most of the lakes in North Jersey.. Also making meetings will be tough. The other issue I have is my boat It is a 20 foot deep V, which might not make it in some areas..I have never fished for Musky but would like to start. Mostly I fished for Bass and trout.

I renewed my membership Friday. I didn't want to lose the opportunity to spend time with the amazing collection of characters that make up MI-50! It's a group that is going places and doing things in spite of itself! [[%&]] Who could pass that up! Plus I wanted to be able to jack Matt around a couple more times!!! ;D I also gave a small donation to the General Fund at the International level. I believe it also is an organization of value that needs to refocus and appears to be doing that. See everyone at a meeting one of these days. Looks like I'll be missing March and April! Damn!

Being a relatively new member of MI 50, I would just like to reiterate what everyone else has said here. The knowledge that is gathered here, throughout our members, is really awesome. Questions that are posed, are usually anwered pretty quickly, and expertly. As a member, the meetings are only a fraction of what we do. The real "Enchilada", comes with the , ( now infamous) "Time on the Water", aspect of the club. Info on types of baits, what waters to fish, and ( in my mind) fishing with the other members is rreally what it's all about ! Initially, you new members might be a little "reserverd" in your questions or activity in the club, but Fear not! Get as involved as you can! There are many events that we do throughout the year. Anything from Float Stockings of our little buddies, to Club Tournaments, Award Banquets, to Show Expos. Plenty of help needed for any or all ! So don't feel insignificant or unheard, take an active roll, and you truly won't regret it.
Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big
"jerk"
