So I know this is a Muskie site, but we are all outdoorsmen and I'm sure most can appreciate any well done video.

This particular video is about a rare set of circumstances that causes an explosion of the mouse population in New Zealand. This overpopulation of mice creates a feeding frenzy with huge native trout. There is some awesome footage, and beautiful fish/scenery. It's worth the 5 minutes to watch, and if I was fortunate enough to have the $$$ to go on an adventure such as this you can bet your ass I'd be there!

Reminds me of fishing mice out west. Guess this trip is now on my list along with taimen in Mongolia. My brother and I have actually started planning that trip. Can't wait should be going in a few years.

That will be an amazing trip twinkle toes! You bring up an interesting point of discussion. What trips does everyone have on their wish list?

Amazon fishing for peakocks, arapaima, ect..

Tarpon fishing in Nicaragua or even Florida during the spring run

Halibut in Alaska

Goliath tigerfish in Africa has it's appeal however the location makes me a bit skittish...

I'd like to do a fly-in pike trip to northern Saskatchewan/Wollaston lake lodge.

Taimen would be a very cool trip/story.

And of course the countless number of muskie trips I haven't made yet lol

Awesome video, and a beautiful setting. I'm heading upstate Ny this week for three days chasing steelhead and big brown in the Ontario tributaries. Fishing trips...hmm ,where to start?!?
Giant sea run brown trout in Argentina
Giant Trevally in Omen
Musky on Rowan lake and many others
Golden dorado in the Amazon
Cory the taimen trip would be insane, what a fish.

In Panama you can get a one day slam of trophy sized Tarpon, Snook and Peacock Bass all on the same day on Lake Gatun. While I have caught Tarpon and Snook on separate trips in Fla.., achieving this slam would be an awesome trip.

Gatun is an inland lake, feed directly by the Panama Canal from the Bay of Panama. I won't call it a bucket list trip because it has good chance of happening. My companies National Sales Meeting is in Panama City, Panama in March 2014. This lake is about 40 km from where I'll be staying. I'm doing the research on a guide and planning to add two days of fishing to my trip. I hope it all comes together. 8)
