Every winter we go through our gear and reassess what we've used or not used. Part of that process is refreshing our lure and fly assortments. We've held a club lure swap for the last 4-5 years at the Feb meeting. The idea is to bring lures or flies to trade with other members. While the preference is to trade, we do end up exchanging some cash w/ lures on a few deals.
I always enjoy this event and always bring 10-20 baits to trade. Turnout/participation for this was really low in 2019. Hoping everyone brings some good stuff to trade or sell at the Feb 5th 2019 Meeting!
P.S. To less active members who don't chase muskies anymore and have gear they want to part with, this is a great way to do it without the hassles of shipping.
