No, I've never caught anything on a Super D. But I haven't put a lot of time in using them.
The black bulldawgs in particular get ripped apart so easily. I don't know why only the all black ones are made from the really crappy plastic, but they are. So, I'm looking for an alternative, and a black Super D seems like the answer. I'll probably stick to using the bulldawgs in other colors though.

It may be time to look into the new dawgs. Musky Innovations has totally redesigned the dawg this yr. Have improved hardware & gone back to tougher rubber. They introduced the new line up at the Chicago Show. So should be available very soon at your favorite tackle store. lol Lots of nice new stuff this yr.

Silvia,
Have you heard much about the Magnum Helidawg's from Musky Innovations? I saw Saric using one ( White pearl w/ Chart, head) on the Musky Hunter Show. I'm not sure I'd want to throw that all day ( could use for trolling as well ) , but of course he did get one using it! Are you familiar with them, and where could you get one?
I checked the Musky Innovations website, but didn't give much info . Any ideas?
Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big

George, The Mag. Heli Dawgs are a great bait. Again no wrong way to work the bait. The mags are a load to throw, but easy enough to work in the water. You can also get a reg. size Heli Dawg too. Easier on the body. Rollie & Helens, Thornes, Musky tackle online, all carry them. Thorne's you could give a call as they may carry custom colors that aren't on their web site. If your looking for that particular color, again I'd try Thorne's or Rollie & Helens.
