Just used my Treat for the third time. Was in perfect condition when I started fishing, now the paint has cracked throughout the lure and bare wood is showing in spots. I heard someone else may have had the same problem. What has been done in the past? Is it an isolated incident or do all of the 2006 batch have this problem? The cranked paint has affected the way it moves in the water.
Any help is appreciated.
Barry

Barry, I have 6 treats and all have been repainted (okay, some by choice, but 3 of them not by choice - had almost a quarter of the bait's paint chip off). You can use super glue as a quick fix, but its just protecting the wood. I recommend that if you get it repainted have them check the lure first on how it drops (it seems the 06 don't drop evenly on the pause) and see if they can fix it as well. Good Luck, and send me an e-mail at home if you need more dets. J
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

A Treat in a tree.
Now that's something that'll perk a guy's ears up!

I'm pretty sure that if you sent those Wileys back to Dale, he'd either replace them or repaint them.
