I've got a few lures that, through use, are losing the plastic coating on the sides. Notably my shallow invader and a jake.
Is there anything that can be done to repaint or repair? How do you replace that prism pattern on the sides?

bsurkin, you can buy prism tape at dicks sporting goods. peel the old tape off and cut and put on the new tape, than spray clear over top. Brian

One option is to have the baits sent out and repainted. Durst products and MRG are two of te best in the business. Both have web sites. In addition to re-painting, they will clearcoat the bait to better prevent the problem from happening again.

Thanks for the tip. Do you mean clear lacquer or something like polyurethane?

Dont use Durst for repaints if you want the lures back this season.

Hi Bsurkin,
I would gladly try to help you out on getting these baits fixed up.I could repaint and clear coat them for a reasonable fee if interested.Would have them done in 2 to 3 weeks possibly.

Thanks for the offer Steve. I need the baits for the Antons trip, but I may be in touch after.
