It is a side-to side glider, like the regular jerko, just with a tail. I had a couple but did not like them since the tail really hampered the glide. Mine simply moved straight forward. The tail looked good though. Most baits have a real problem with glide when a plastic tail is added. The Hughes River MVT is the only one the still glides that I have seen. That being said, maybe I don't work them right.
