The first tip would be to join MI 50 ---second tip would be to go to the MI 50 musky school where an experienced Musky fisherman will take you out (even to Marsh creek) if you desire.

The fish are there and can be caught. Can they be easily caught there? ...no. Can they be easily caught anywhere? ..I still think the answer is No...but I certainly am not a good musky fisherman I go musky fishing because ..they really excite me when I see one....and I have a built in excuse when someone asks if I caught anything :>).

I have fished Marsh Creek for about 20 years and have caught or seen (seen is good) muskys everywhere in the lake. I am simply a grown up bass fisherman ---so I like to fish weed beds. Weed beds in that lake are just about everywhere.

The only answer is have the right equipment...musky rod (if you don't want to spend much to begin I suggest the $19.99 musky rod from bass pro, good casting reel, very sharp hooks, a really big net and be ready when they hit (not easy after long hours).

Lastly ...Expect to spend a lot of hours on the lake and not catch anything. Prepare for it and keep throwing . It will happen.
