Hello to all. I'm from the Allentown area. An for years you allways heard of people catching monster out of this strip. Was currious if anyone in the area happen to be on this forum. Or if anyone has fished the lehigh river with any luck and any tips? Thanks guys

There's actually quite a few guys that fish the Lehigh. I'll let them weigh in, but yes, there are some nice muskies in there, and the State does stock as well.
Good luck and go get 'em!

I used to fish the Lehigh but most of the fish are gone over fishing and takers . I don't waste my time there anymore . Its sad that such a great fishery could be destoryed so quickly . One of the main reasons I no longer share . Do your research and time on the same water and you will find fish . Please be careful with the fish bring tools (bolt cutters pliers big net) good luck and if you want to learn anything localy get a Muskie School . Meetings are monthly and open good luck

Its amazing.....that Morning Call article just keeps coming back like a bad hemroid! Maybe its time to write a retraction on that article. ;D Rhuffort, good luck in your hunting. Like BushKill said, make sure you got the proper tools and your just going to have to put your time in and scout around. Its a tough little river. Later on

Well, honestly its the toughest little lake around. I've fished it faithfully for three years and have yet to get a freakin fish out of it. Thats way my site name is what it is, you've got to be retarded to fish it. Stick with the rivers around here like, the lehigh, delaware and susky. Beltsville, Blue Marsh, and the Nock all have fish in too. Or give our baby lake a shot (Marsh Creek). Like i said before, just start scouting and learning the area's waters. PA's a tough state to fish for these monsters. Good luck, later on
