Hi,
I am going to dedicate this fall and try to finally catch a muskie, most of my efforts are gonna be concentrated on Mercer. I'll certainly have the time on the water, but I was wondering if you could point me towards some good tactics/lures.
Lately I've been casting a Sledge to the banks and parallel to the banks in 8-10 feet of water. I've also trolled a shad colored warner crank to the deeper parts in the western end when I'm not dodging the crew boats.
Can I expect to find the fish in near the banks or in the deeper areas (12+).
Any thoughts on casting lures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
Also - I ran into a member from here a couple weeks ago on Mercer. Didn't catch the name though.
