I have been away from the site for awhile ,mostly house work .
No longer have the john boat and have been working the shore of BlueMarsh and a couple
of spots on the Lehigh river and Schuylkill.
Having trouble getting fish to commit.
Mostly on Blue marsh. can get follows but all but two have just drifted away.
On the rivers ,well they blast the bait as it is picking up speed on the swing .
Or just follow and hang off shore looking.
Driving me nuts.

I fish with both,fly rod ( 9' 10wt ugly stick)
and 8' spinning and casting outfits,throwing
plugs.

Wet,
Try speeding up the plug as you have a follow. Make the lure looke like it is trying to escape from the fish. Also make sure to figure 8 if possible from shore.

Not tryin to be funny but they prob can see you standin there. pick somewhere u can blend, try wearing different color clothes. And apply other stuff everybody said. oh, and also be positive and have one of your favorite refreshments ready for that first hook up! ;D Good Luck!! Also u could try small muskrat Fly, prob 6'' brown natural colors. see ya
